SyFy has announced that the BSG prequel series, Caprica, will return in January of 2011. This seems like a long break since season one is broken into two parts: the first half of season one, comprising of nine episodes, premiered in January of 2010 and ended at the end of March. The second half was originally slated for a fall premiere.
Hopefully, the Comic-Con Caprica panel will shed some light on a renewal decision yet on the part of SyFy.
Catch the Caprica panel on Friday, July 23rd at 11:30am in Ballroom 20. Stars Alessandra Torresani, Sasha Roiz, and co-creator/ exec producer Ron Moore and David Eick will be present. Expect to see a trailer for the second half of season one!
