Cameron’s AVATAR Named Best Picture Of 2009 By New York Film Critics Online

This past Sunday, the New York Film Critics Online named James Cameron’s “AvatarBest Picture of 2009 at NYFCO’s tenth annual meeting.

Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” took the most awards this year, taking home four awards including best supporting and breakthrough actor for Christoph Waltz, best cinematography, best screenplay as well as being listed on the best eleven films of the year.

Disney/ Pixar’s “Up” won the best Animated feature award.
