‘Cameron Stewart’ Is The Next Artist On ‘Batman And Robin’


batman-and-robin-1-4DC Comics has unveiled Cameron Stewart as the next artist on Batman And Robin.

The penciller is best known for his work on Catwoman and Vertigo’s Seaguy. He will take the reins from current artist Philip Tan, making his debut with issue #7.

The ongoing series – written by Grant Morrison – picks up after the events of Batman: RIP, Final Crisis and Battle For The Cowl. It follows the new Dark Knight Dick Grayson as he attempts to continue what Bruce Wayne started in Gotham. He is joined by Damien Wayne, the latest incarnation of Robin and son of the former Batman.

Stewart and Morrison have previously collaborated on Seven Soldiers: Manhattan Guardian, Seaguy and Seaguy: Slaves of Mickey Eye.

Batman And Robin #7 will be available in December. The entire first volume will be released in deluxe hardcover format in April 2010.
