Guardians of the Galaxy looks to be a really unique moviegoing experience that will be headed our way in no time, and the cast that is being assembled looks fantastic so far, with Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, Zoe Saldana and Lee Pace already getting primed for their roles. Here’s the latest on one more great actor who is in talks to join the crew.

Deadline is reporting that Glenn Close is in talks to play a leadership role for Nova Corp, the intergalactic space patrol. Can’t wait to see what she does with the role. It’d be great to see some concept art for her character.

Guardians of the Galaxy directed by James Gunn and starring Glenn Close, Chris Pratt, Dave Bautista, Michael Rooker, Zoe Saldana and Lee Pace is slated to hit theaters August 1st, 2014.
