Okay, I’ll just come right out and say it. WOW, Season 3 of The Walking Dead was so much better than Season 2! And the second half of Season 3 was the best half. Here’s hoping that the trend continues when the series returns for its fourth season in October.
For now, however, let’s take some time to appreciate all that was the Season 3 Finale. We have the last of the weekly featurettes; an Inside the Episode, with the actors and producers discussing the characters’ motivations, a Making Of the Episode that reveals all that went into the very excellent prison assault scene, plus a bonus Making Of featurette that shows the technical aspects of shooting Andrea’s final scene; we even learn a new term, “dutching” the camera. See, fun and educational!
The Talked About Scene clip is of course Andrea’s and Milton’s. We have the highlights from the season finale of Talking Dead, which was a really excellent episode, and to finish it all off we have a featurette of the cast and producers giving a forecast of what may be coming. My favorite is Scott Wilson’s (Hershel): “I don’t have a clue what’s coming next.”
