BEING HUMAN: Spoiler! Season Three Promises Some New Creatures

While we await the American version of the hit UK series, Being Human, to premiere on SyFy January 17, 2011, we’ve got some teasers for what season three of the original series has in store for us. Word is that this next season will have more werewolf characters, the introduction of a new supernatural (zombies!), and “possibly a baby for our favorite werewolf couple.”

Now it’s just speculation on the baby news for Nina (Sinead Keenan) and George (Russell Tovey), but something described as a “major development” “causes them to reach out to other members of the werewolf community.” So the possibility of werewolf cubs is a logical hypothesis for their reaching out, but could showrunner Toby Whithouse have written the story to an unexpected turn of events?

Where does a zombie come in? In the storyline to get Annie back from the “other side,” this new zombie character “exposes Annie to all the things she’ll never have again.” As Lenora Crichlow, who plays Annie explains:

“Often the things that happen in Annie’s adventures really make her realise how in limbo she is, and just how unsettling that can be when you’re looking at that for eternity.”

In working to get Annie back, Mitchell (Aidan Turner) works with another character, Leah (Lacey Turner), who is from “the other side”. Click here to find out more about Leah and her relationship with Mitchell.
