FX was one of the first networks to release artistic conceptual teases for upcoming series, most notably with American Horror Story. They set a tone for what was to come, and made us even more eager for actual footage. As we’ve been sharing with you, FX has been releasing the same type of teasers for the upcoming Guillermo del Toro and Carlton Cuse vampire virus series The Strain. Nearly to the point of exhaustion.

Now, with a great sigh of relief and a large amount of excitement, we are happy to finally present the first actual footage of the series, in the form of a TV spot. Now I really can’t wait:
