BEDLAM Season 2 Premiere Set for BBC America

The great news? BBC America has announced October 6 as the premiere for Season 2 of the very cool series Bedlam, in its Supernatural Saturdays slot of Saturdays at 9/8c. The bad news? That means that the show currently in that time slot will be over for a while. No more redhead and Roman soldier…

But time marches on, and it’s great that BBC America is continuing on with Supernatural Saturdays. Season 1 of Bedlam was much better than the commercials indicated, and we’re hoping for more of that with Season 2. It’s an almost entirely new cast, but it looks like the writers are the same, so with any luck the new season will be just as creepy as the first one. Here’s the press release:

BEDLAM – U.S. PREMIERE

In the second season of Supernatural Saturday’s Bedlam, the horror and drama returns as the restless spirits of Bedlam Heights wreak their terrible revenge on unsuspecting new inhabitants. A few months ago Ellie started having visions of the dead re-enacting their violent, shocking deaths on the living. Through the hospital where she works, Ellie also knows that a former patient, Jed, was treated for exactly the same thing and if only she could track him down, she’s sure he must know a way to make it stop. As the residents continue to be terrorized by the asylum’s dark past, they soon realize whatever is waiting for them in the depths of Bedlam Heights is worse than anything they could have ever imagined. Bedlam premieres Saturday, October 6, 9:00pm ET as part of Supernatural Saturday.
