BBC’s BEING HUMAN Renewed For Fourth Season


The BBC critically-acclaimed series, Being Human, has been renewed for a fourth season. For fans of SyFy’s American take on the series, this series is the original source material from which the American Being Human takes off from. Series creator Toby Whithouse (Torchwood, Doctor Who) is “overwhelmed” and “thrilled” by the news:

“We were overwhelmed by the response to series three, and so we’re absolutely thrilled that the BBC have given us this opportunity to continue our show into a fourth year. We’ve got another intense and epic story lined up for you, with some new faces and old, and even more horror and mayhem and mugs of tea. I can’t wait to get started.”

Acting Controller for BBC Three, Harry Lansdown lauds the series:

Being Human has been so successful to not only beget to an American take on the series but also a web series spin-off called Becoming Human.

The fourth season will be eight sixty-minute episodes and will introduce new characters as well see appearances by the third season guest stars Lacey Turner (ghost, Lia), Robson Green (werewolf, McNair), and Michael Socha (werewolf, Tom).
