We told you last month about a post on Michael Bay’s official site, where he spoke about location scouting for Transformers 3, with his trip ending in Miami, Florida. Not only was he location scouting in Miami, but also loaded up his private plane with 14 Florida Surgeons, flew them down to Haiti and then he brought a planeload of exhausted Miami Fire rescue teams home.

Now, in a new post on Michael’s site – Nelson, his webmaster gives us an update on Transformers 3, in addition to a chartiable offer that the Master of Explosions is making.

Spoke with Michael today and got some little info on TF3: there will be big action sequences shot in Chicago and Moscow this time around.

Also, Mike will match the amount raised by the TF2 DVD/Blu-ray sales for the Make A Wish Foundation.

Hopefully TF3 will be a great flick (proof will be in the robotic pudding, so to speak) and Chicago will have another film under their belt to brag about. Of course it will be a long time before anything filmed in the Windy City tops Batman Begins & The Dark Knight – in terms of  geek bragging rights.
