There’s quite a bit to share with you about our favorite Man in Green show today, so let’s get started. The upcoming Arrow episode entitled Mom on Trial “State vs. Queen” includes the return of my personal favorite Arrow villain, Seth Gabel as Count Vertigo. Here’s a pic, a TV spot and a clip:

Can’t wait to see Seth Gabel bring out the crazy, something he never got much of a chance to do as Lincoln Lee on Fringe.

Next, from star Stephen Amell’s Facebook page comes this great pic of the star with his new buddy Grant Gustin, who plays Barry Allen (and eventually Flash) in the two episodes after “State v. Queen”, followed by some screen shots from the first of the two, “The Scientist”:

Now we had told you earlier that after these first two episodes, Barry Allen would be back for a “backdoor pilot” and Flash origin story in Arrow‘s episode 20. A backdoor pilot is an episode of an existing series that clearly sets up a spinoff, sort of a crossover episode, like The Originals did on The Vampire Diaries last year.

Now Deadline is reporting that the pilot will get the full treatment (and full funding) for presentation to the network instead of a backdoor pilot, reportedly because the execs liked what they saw in episodes 208 and 209, which is a good sign that we’ll be seeing a Flash before our eyes (sorry, irresistible) in series form in the future. No word yet on what Arrow will do now for episode 220.

Next, the rumor mill. If you’re a Vampire Diaries fan this guy’s face is familiar; he’s Steven R. McQueen (grandson of Steve) and he stars as Elena’s little brother Jeremy. Well he recently tweeted this:

Could be just trying to get some support for being cast. But a few hours ago came this tweet from Greg Berlanti, Arrow creator and executive producer:

What do you think?

And finally, we have this intriguing post and pic from Amell’s Facebook page:

“Coming soon. But how… And why..?”

Why indeed. And WHEN?! We. Shall. See.
