The Bells of St. John aired this past weekend and isn’t television just better when Doctor Who is back on it and airing new episodes? YES. And more good things are coming with this being the Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary. Filming is underway for the hour long anniversary episode and we’re so happy to report that a past doctor and a memorable companion will be be there.
Confirmed by the BBC, David Tennant (the 10th Doctor) and Billie Piper (Rose) are both signed on and will be joined by John Hurt (Alien, Harry Potter). One person who we will not see is Captain Jack (John Barrowman), that’s official. *sad face*
I will not be involved in the 50th Anniversary Episode of Dr WHO. JB

Ah well, we can’t have them all I suppose. Like I’ve said before, there will be a limited release of this episode in theaters in 3D, but we still don’t know if that will be happening stateside.
We’ll keep you updated on the Doctor Who: 50th Anniversary special episode.
