Now, Twitch reports that Chinese superstar Andy Lau (Shaolin, Maang taam) is in final negotiations to play a scientist and old friend of Tony Stark’s that provides him with some new tech to battle the film’s villains.

Iron Man 3 is slated to hit theaters on May 3rd, 2013.
