Andy Clarke Takes The Artistic Reins Of DC’s BATMAN AND ROBIN

British illustrator Andy Clarke took the artistic reins on DC Comics’ Batman & Robin this week. The former Judge Dredd penciller makes his debut alongside acclaimed writer Grant Morrison on issue #10 of the comic, which is available in stores now. Clarke’s run on the book will last for three issues and feature a confrontation between the Dick Grayson incarnation of Batman and the new Robin – Damian Wayne. His tenure will usher in DC’s Return Of Bruce Wayne miniseries.

The artist previously tackled Batman in Detective Comics and Batman Confidential.

Clarke said,

“It’s great to be drawing him again – it gives me another chance to build on what I’ve done before in past stories where things weren’t quite as successful as I would’ve hoped.”

Batman & Robin #10 is available in stores now. The Return Of Bruce Wayne debuts in May.
