According to multiple sources, “Smallville” baddie Sam Witwer aka Doomsday has been cast in SyFy’s upcoming American version of the BBC’s “Being Human”. Witwer will play the role of the vampire, Aidan, of the archetypal three supernaturals that room together in the show. Witwer not only has comic book cred with the “Smallville” role, but also has sci-fi stripes as Crashdown in Ron Moore’s “Battlestar Galactica”.

The SyFy show has also cast Canadian actress Meaghan Rath (TeenNick’s “The Assistants”) as ghost, Molly. Sam Huntington (“Superman Returns”) is in the running to play the werewolf, Josh.
