We’ve been featuring American Horror Story a lot lately, but the “clues” and other TV spots made it look so exquisitely creepy that we couldn’t help ourselves. Now we’re starting to get some of the more “standard” type of TV spots, and… this show may really be pretty awesome. The first clip made us every-so-slightly concerned that the show was more hype than horror, but the second one, even though it has some duplicate scenes, is pretty great:

If you know and love any FX shows from recent seasons, like Sons of Anarchy, Wilfred, or personal favorite Justified, you may have felt a delicious sense of familiarity with the aura of the show through those videos. If that’s the case, it may be slightly less horrifyingly scary than we’ve been led to believe, but no less awesome. COME ON, OCTOBER 5!
