American Horror Story: New TV Spot and Poster; Zachary Quinto to Debut in Two Part Halloween Episode

We already know that Zachary Quinto (Star Trek) can do “creepy” exceedingly well – his first season Sylar on Heroes was absolutely chilling. How perfect, then, that he’ll be joining the cast of American Horror Story. Because they need more scary, creepy, terrifying-ness for this show.

He will reportedly be debuting on the horror-fest on the October 26 episode, part two of which will air ON HALLOWEEN. Yes, if you are making plans for Halloween, make sure those plans include having friends over to watch the HALLOWEEN EPISODE of American Horror Story. You’ll want to have friends over because from what we understand, you don’t ever want to watch this show alone.

Here’s what Deadline is reporting about the plan, including a bit more info about the series itself that we’ve not seen elsewhere:

It centers on therapist Ben Harmon (Dylan McDermott) and his wife Vivien (Connie Britton) who, dealing with the aftermath of Ben’s adultery, move along with their kids into a new house that seems to know all about their fears and plays on them. Quinto, who will appear in at least four episodes, will play Chad, the gay former owner of the house who becomes friends with Vivien. Quinto will make his debut in a big two-part Halloween episode, which [co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk] are working on. The first part will air in the series’ regular Wednesday time slot Oct. 26, followed by Part 2 on Halloween night, which FX is expected to turn into an American Horror Story-themed event.

YES! We can see black rubber-suited theme parties popping up all over the country, can’t you?
