American Horror Story: Morris Chestnut and Sarah Paulson Join the Cast

We’ve seen the spooky clips, we’ve read the spooky accounts, we know it’s a spooky show. Apparently the characters know it, too, because Sarah Paulson (Deadwood, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip) has been cast as a medium on the creepfest.

According to EOnline, she’ll be in four episodes but will spend most of her screen time with Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton’s neighbor, played by Jessica Lange.

In addition, Variety has announced that Morris Chestnut (V) will also be joining the cast in a “multi-episode arc” as someone named “Luke.” Wish we had more, but at least it’ll be nice to see his familiar and very attractive face back on a sci-fi show. Hopefully this time there will be no talk of skinning anyone. Ewww.

We started getting extremely interested in this show back at the beginning of August, when October 5 seemed like a year and a half away. Now it’s less than a month away. Are we really ready for it? We would like to find out. NOW.

American Horror Story, starring Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, and Jessica Lange, premieres Wednesday, October 5 at 10/9 c. on FX.
