American Horror Story Brings Two More Into the Fold

We’re always happy to get information about the beloved American Horror Story, and besides the great Emmy news that came out last Friday (see our post from today), we have some Season 2 casting news. We don’t know a lot about either new character, but that’s okay, we’d really like to learn about them during, you know, the airing of the actual show.

First up we have the lovely and talented Mark Consuelos, formerly of All My Children, who according to THR will be playing an inmate at the home for the criminally insane that is reportedly the site of Season 2 of the series. The character’s name is Spivey.

The other is the also lovely and talented Clea DuVall (Heroes, The Event) who, according to TVLine, will be playing a character for multiple episodes, and apparently often with Sarah Paulson. Since we don’t know what Sarah Paulson will be doing, we aren’t getting a lot there either.

But shooting began last week and TVLine did get this great quote from showrunner Ryan Murphy:

Everyone looks so different… People who were enemies last year are allies this year. The sets are amazing. It’s 1964, so everything looks very different.

Can. Not. Wait.

American Horror Story Season 2, starring Jessica LangeZachary QuintoEvan Peters,Sarah PaulsonLily RabeChloë SevignyJames CromwellAdam LevineLizzie Brocheré, and Britne Oldford will be premiering this fall on FX.
