Amazon has been creating and debuting pilots for shows to run on their Instant Video site. Those pilots are shared with viewers and the viewers are meant to vote for the shows they like. Shows with the most positive feedback get put into series. Zombieland was their first attempt at sci-fi and it failed to make it to series. The votes are in for their second attempt, The After, and we have a winner!

We watched, loved, left feedback, and reviewed this great pilot from creator of the X-Files, Chris Carter, and Variety has now reported that it has been picked up for series.
