Amazon Prime Claims ZOMBIELAND the TV Show

zombielandwide

It’s not news that Zombieland had been originally written for television before it was reworked into a major motion picture. Last week, though, possibly in the glow of The Walking Dead‘s television success, it was starting to take shape at CBS, then BAM Amazon.com steals the series to be released on their Prime Streaming site.

Bleeding Cool reports that casting has yet to be done, but the call has been put out, and we’re sure the characters will stay true to the snark and comedy that you got in the movie.

With Zombieland on the horizon at Amazon and with Hemlock Grove coming soon to Netflix April 19th, it may be time to check into a television that will connect to the internet and stream these thing. That or a device such as a Roku box to add to your existing modern television might do the trick. The future is upon us, people. Arm yourselves.

We will keep you posted on Zombieland as it develops.
