Alan Rickman Says Goodbye To Harry Potter and the Cast Sums Up the Series In One Word

The release of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, the final adventure in the Harry Potter film series, directed by David Yates and starring Daniel Radcliffe, Rupert Grint, and Emma Watson is less than two months away. While each and every one of the fans of the series (myself included) will miss the boy wizard and his big-screen adventures, after a decade of actually being the big-screen versions of J.K. Rowling‘s characters, the cast will likely miss it the most.

In the latest issue of Empire Magazine, they reflect on the series and the forthcoming, final film. Included in the issue is the letter below, written by Alan Rickman (Severus Snape), as something of a farewell to the world of Harry Potter. Just below that is a video featuring members of the cast, attempting to sum up the Harry Potter series in one word.

Check them both out below!

You’ll have to excuse me, I seem to have gotten something in my eyes ::tear::
