Hopefully you’ve been watching the nicely twisty and intriguing Extant on CBS. The promotions leading up to the premiere were intriguing but vague; happily it has turned out to be twisty, engaging, and suspenseful – there’s even a conspiracy, yay! – and the future setting adds some cool visual elements.

If you haven’t been watching live, you’re not alone; second episode viewing jumped by 3 million when including “live + 7” numbers. That’s pretty good, but to give it a boost, CBS has changed the timeslot of the show from 9/8c to 10/9c, and now according to Deadline it has moved the season finale from September 24 to September 17 so it isn’t competing with network premiere week.
