ACTION COMICS Number One Breaks Auction Record, Again!

The record price for a comic book, already broken twice this year, has been broken again. A copy of the 1938 edition of Action Comics No. 1 sold last Monday for $1.5 million. The issue was bought from a private collector and then sold by Stephen Fishler and Vincent Zurzolo, the co-owners of ComicConnect.com.

We told you about the same issue selling for $1 million back in February, which had it’s record quickly broken by the sale of Batman’s 1939 comic book debut (Detective Comics #27) which sold for just over $1 million and change just days later.
