It’s so exciting to see so many pilots for OUR kind of shows being picked up by the networks this year. The latest is ABC, who along with the pilot for Beauty and the Beast, has now also picked up the pilot for a show entitled Gotham. Sorry Dark Knight fans, not THAT Gotham. This is a story by Michael Green, the man who wrote the pilot for ABC‘s upcoming creepfest The River, so right away we’re encouraged.

According to Deadline, Gotham is the story of a female cop who, while investigating a seemingly unsolvable case, discovers a magical world that exists within New York City. So, kinda like Grimm in the Big City? I can’t wait to hear more about this, particularly of course about the magical world.
