ABC Announces 2014-15 Lineup, See the Schedule, Pics and More

ABC Primetime 2014 2015 schedule announcement logo wide

Today it’s ABC‘s turn to pitch at the Upfronts, and we have the 2014-15 schedule (no premiere dates yet, just like the other networks), synopses, pics and even a clip for you right here. We’ll post any additional clips and/or trailers when they become available.

Jumping right in, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will retain its Tuesday night locale but is being bumped up an hour, to 9/8c, to be followed at 10/9c by new show Forever, a variant on the NYPD consultant genre, as the lead character is immortal. Once Upon a Time is keeping its Sundays at 8/7c slot, as is Resurrection at 9/8c.

Marvel’s Agent Carter and Galavant will serve as bridge programming between the fall finales and winter premieres of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and Once Upon a Time, respectively.

Alien-invasion-via-children series The Whispers, starring Lily Rabe (American Horror Story) premieres “later in the 2014-15 season,” so likely winter or spring.

Our updated fall schedule grid still shows no conflicts, excellent. Of course, we know that won’t last.

Mondays

9/8c Sleepy Hollow (Fox)

10/9c Gotham (Fox)

Tuesdays

9/8c Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. (ABC)

10/9c Forever (ABC)

Fridays

9/8c  Grimm (NBC)

10/9c Constantine (NBC)

Sundays

8/7 c Once Upon a Time (ABC)

9/8c Resurrection

We have synopses of all the new shows, and although ABC released synopses of the returning shows, only Once Upon a Time has been updated for the new season (and even that’s just one sentence, but still), so that’s the only one you’ll see below.

Once Upon a Time Frozen

ONCE UPON A TIME” (Season 4)
Master storytellers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz (“Lost,” “Tron: Legacy”) invite everyone to join Emma Swan, Snow White, Prince Charming, The Evil Queen, Hook and all the other resident fairy tale characters as they prepare to defend themselves against a magical force from the past that’s too dark and unpredictable even for Rumplestiltskin – The Ice Queen. Welcome to Storybrooke, Maine, a small town that probably won’t show up on your GPS, but it’s a magical place to visit. Reality and myth merged after Emma broke Regina’s curse, which had deprived the fairytale characters of their memories and trapped them in our modern world. When they finally regained their identities, our heroes were dismayed to discover that they weren’t transported back to Fairy Tale Land. To make matters worse, Rumplestiltskin – aka Mr. Gold – decided to escalate his power struggle with Regina by introducing magic into the town. But this is our world, and magic always has a tendency to yield unfathomable consequences.

Once Upon a Time” stars Ginnifer Goodwin as Snow White/Mary Margaret, Jennifer Morrison as Emma Swan, Lana Parrilla as the Evil Queen/Regina, Josh Dallas as Prince Charming/David, Emilie de Ravin as Belle, Colin O’Donoghue as Hook, Jared S. Gilmore as Henry Mills and Robert Carlyle as Rumplestiltskin/Mr. Gold.

Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz are creators and executive producers. Steve Pearlman and David H. Goodman are also executive producers. The show is from ABC Studios.
