Jackson has joined the cast of director José Padilha‘s (Elite Squad, Elite Squad 2) forthcoming remake of RoboCop as Pat Novak, a charismatic media mogul and a powerful force in the world of the super-human cyborg known as RoboCop, played by Joel Kinnaman (The Darkest Hour).

Now, Deadline reports that the lovely Abbie Cornish (Sucker Punch, Seven Psychopaths) is in talks to join the cast of RoboCop as the wife of the title character , who thinks she is a widow

RoboCop is slated to hit theaters on August 9th, 2013.
