Last month, we told you that Zachary Levi may replace Josh Dallas as Fandral in Thor 2. We’ve got confirmation straight from the lips (and facial hair) of Chuck himself that Levi will indeed be playing the role! Dallas has a scheduling conflict with filming ABC’s Once Upon a Time and declined to reprise the role.
Levi was on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno this week and talked about the Thor sequel as well as Chuck and a great many nerdy things. Jay and Zachary really talk about Thor right at the beginning and a little after the 3rd minute, but who doesn’t like the funny from Zachary, right? There are both parts of his Tonight Show interview. In the second half, Levi talks about his company Nerd HQ at San Diego Comic-Con and takes to the streets to find the inner nerd in everyday folks. Thor 2 will begin production in July with Game of Thrones director Alan Taylor at the helm and is slated to hit theaters on November 8th, 2013.
