Syfy doesn’t have a half-hour comedy on its schedule right now, but it may have designs to do so in the future. It has reportedly purchased a project entitled Ghost Ghirls, executive produced by Jack Black. It was created by Amanda Lund, Maria Blasucci and Jeremy Konner.

Deadline reports:

Directed by Konner, Ghost Ghirls is a comedic take on popular paranormal procedurals like Medium and Ghost Whisperer starring Lund and Blasucci (improv two-women show BEANS!) as two women: Heidi, who has self-proclaimed psychic abilities, and Angelica, who is a tech wiz. Together they attempt to solve paranormal mysteries each week while trying to prove to themselves and their customers that they are competent ghost hunters.

Ok, we’re willing to give it a try if Syfy does. We’ll keep you posted.
