Disney Taps Green Lantern Scribe Marc Guggenheim for TIME ZONES

Set your Tardis aside, you won’t need one for this adventure to travel through time and space! Walt Disney Pictures’ newest project is called Time Zones, a sci-fi fantasy adventure that is described as a “race against time merged with a race in time.”

According to THR, Disney has tapped Marc Guggenheim (Green Lantern, FlashForward) to write the script and will be produced by Mark Gordon (Source Code, Criminal Minds) and Jennifer Todd (Alice in Wonderland).

In Time Zones, space-time is fractured and has replaced various parts of the world with identical geography at different points of time (hence the name of the film). So there might be a 1750 France, a 300 B.C. China, and a 2065 New York. “One man realizes that because time travel is now a matter of geography, he has the chance to change the past and save the life of his wife, but must team up with his estranged daughter to do so.”

Sounds intriguing, does it not?
