Mark Heyman (Black Swan, The Skeleton Twins) has recently signed on to pen a long gestating post-apocalyptic sci-fi project for Fox Searchlight, entitled Age of Rage. Director Marc Webb (Untitled Spider-Man Reboot) has been developing the project since 2008.

THR reports that Age of Rage will be Webb’s next project after his forthcoming Untitled Spider-Man Reboot. The setting for the film is a post-apocalyptic society where all the adults have died and a group of teens sets about trying to establish a new society.

At this time, no production or release dates have been set for Age of Rage.
