Award-winning commercial director, Fredrik Bond‘s big-screen directorial debut will be the feature film Year 12, which was written by Edward Ricourt (Abraham’s Daughter) and the film will be produced by Joe Roth (Alice in Wonderland).
According to The Wrap, the project was originally set up through Paramount Pictures, has now been put in turn around and is expected to find a new home shortly.
The story takes place in Manhattan twelve years after aliens have invaded earth and focuses on an underwater uranium miner who is recruited to smuggle uranium in his bloodstream so that the resistance can use it to blow up the aliens’ mothership.
There is currently no production or release date for Year 12.
