Logan’s Run: Carl Rinsch Walks Away From The Warner Bros. Remake

Back in May, commercial director Carl Rinsch (The Gift) signed on to direct Warner Bros. Pictures long awaited remake of the sci-fi classic, Logan’s Run. Throughout the course of the film’s development, the remake was rumored to have attracted the likes of Bryan Singer (X-Men), James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) and most recently Joseph Kosinski (Tron Legacy) to helm the project.

Now, THR reports that Rinsch has decided to leave Warner Bros. sci-fi remake of Logan’s Run in favor of directing Universal Pictures‘ 18th Century Samurai tale, 47 Ronin starring Keanu Reeves.

Logan’s Run is slated to hit theaters in 2012
