The first promo teaser for the fourth season of NBC’s Chuck is here and we get our first glimpse of Linda Hamilton as Mary Bartowski. This season will be all about the search for Chuck’s mom so even this tidbit has got us panting to see more. Check out the promo for season four below.
More news down the casting grapevine is that Lou Ferrigno, the Incredible Hulk himself, and Bronson Pinchot (Balki of Perfect Strangers) will be guest starring in the second episode of the new season. Ferrigno plays a bodyguard of an “evil spy/model” aka former Victoria Secret model Karolina Kurkova. Pinchot has been cast to play Victor, “a tacky and audacious wannabe-matchmaker Chuck (Zachary Levi) meets at Milan’s Fashion Week.
Intel on the fourth episode of the season tells us that we’ll see the return of Armand Assante’s character as Premier Alejandro Goya, who “indepted to Captain Awesome (Ryan McPartlin) for saving his life last season, the Generalissimo shows his gratitude by inviting the gang to his beautiful island.”
But wait, there’s more! Bonita Friedericy, who plays General Beckman, has been promoted to series regular this season. Showrunner Chris Fedak confirms the appointment:
“She’s an incredibly important part of the show. She’s like the Charlie to Charlie’s Angels.”
What does that mean for us? For one thing, we’ll get to see her legs in the premiere episode. More Chuck news as it comes!
