Coming to you in August of 2010 is a role-playing game based on the CW’s show “Smallville” about the origin story of Superman from his teen years onwards. From Margaret Weis Productions, the “Smallville Role-playing Game” allows players to play familiar characters including Clark, Lois, and Oliver or create their own character to insert into the storyline of “Smallville”.

The game uses the same core mechanics as the company’s “Serenity” RPG and other similar products that focuses on character interaction, values, and relationships. The 192-page hardcover rule book will retail for $39.99. Other editions in the pipeline include “Smallville High School Yearbook” in October and “The Watchtower Report” in December.
