Martin Campbell (Casino Royale) is currently shooting Warner Bros. Green Lantern in New Orleans, and apparently New Orleans’ Lakefront Airport has been chosen to become the headquarters for Ferris Aircraft in the film. In the comics, Ferris Aircraft is where Hal Jordan (Ryan Reynolds) works as a test pilot and it is owned and operated by Carl Ferris (Jay O. Saunders) and his daughter Carol (Blake Lively).

Green Lantern is slated to hit theaters on June 17, 2011 and stars Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Peter Sarsgaard, and Mark Strong.
