Joseph Gatt, who was recently added to IMDB’s list of actors cast in Kenneth Branagh’s “Thor”, posted a message on his personal site that says: “Currently, Gatt is prepping for his most prominent job to date: a (secret) role in the forthcoming Marvel Studios film ‘THOR,’ slated for release in 2011”, in addition to the message on his MySpace page, that says: “is currently rehearsing and prepping for THOR!!!!.”

Gatt is a 6’2 British actor/model, whose only pure acting credit is playing a Dark Figure in “Pulse”, however – Gatt has done a large amount of voice over and motion capture work for video games like “Metal Gear Solid 4,” “24: The Game,” “God Of War 2,” and “God Of War 3.”

“Thor” is currently in production, and people are speculating what “secret” role Gatt has been cast in. Due to physical similarities, the vast majority of people seem to be leaning towards Skurge the Executioner, who has previously teamed up with Loki and Enchantress to battle Thor and even fought against “The Avengers”.

“Thor” is set to be released on May 6, 2011.
