Tucker And Dale Versus Evil is a new horror/comedy in which Alan Tudyk (Firefly, Dollhouse) plays Tucker, one half of a goofy but friendly and incredibly well meaning pair of hillbillies, mistakenly accused of being psycho killers by a group of college kids camping at the same lake where the hillbillies have just acquired a dilapidated cabin as their “summer home.
They are plunged into a mess of misconceptions, carnage and widespread bloodshed thanks to the group of college teens who A. believe that Tucker and Dale are evil and B. are hopelessly inept when it comes to eliminating said evil.
The film is directed by Eli Craig and also stars Tyler Labine (Reaper) and Katrina Bowden.

The Calgary Herald reports one person dies every eight minutes of the film, and the film’s unofficial tagline is
“A perfect love story, except for the minor woodchipper incident.” If you figure that “Tucker and Dale” trots out with a 90 minute runtime, that’s a body count of 11 1/4. The fraction must be where that woodchipper comes in.
