Diane Nelson, the new head of DC Entertainment recently spoke with MTV about the Superman ‘situation’.
She said:
We’ve obviously done a lot of great things behind the property in our history, and it’s a key part of the family, but we don’t have current plans behind Superman.
We told you back in July that Warner Bros has until 2011 to make a new Superman movie per court mandate. If no movie is produced by 2011, the Siegel and Schuster families will be able to pursue legal action to recover damages. With that in mind, they better start planning.
