Arnold Schwarzenegger is making leaps and bounds back onto the big screen since he’s retired his office as the governor of California. Besides the action movies that he’s had out recently we’re most interested in his involvement in the next level of the Terminator franchise and today we have news on the advancement of The Legend of Conan.
Universal Pictures is working with Arnold Schwarzenegger to bring his character back to extend his story (rather than Jason Momoa’s 2011 reprisal) and now they have a writer to do it. According to Deadline, Andrea Berloff (writer of 2006’s World Trade Center) will be bringing Mr. Schwarzenegger back to the barbarian who made him famous. They say this new film, “is about his efforts to stay [atop his throne as king] and the final cycle of a life spent obliterating anyone who got in his way.”
Sounds very interesting. We’ll be sure to keep you posted on the latest for Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s The Legend of Conan.
