Disney has bought out Wideload Games, which was led by Bungie co-founder Alex Seropian.
The deal will see the Halo co-creator move to the Disney head offices and become vice-president of creative projects.
“Everybody that worked at Wideload yesterday still works at Wideload today, and will continue to,” Seropian told 1Up.
“Everybody there is really excited about this opportunity, because not only will they get to continue being Wideload, but they’ll get to continue being Wideload with the power and support of Disney.”
Seropian co-founded Bungie in 1991 and started Wideload Games in 2004, developing Stubbs The Zombie and Hail To The Chimp.
Disney also acquired Marvel last month.
