Ron Moore has tapped Jamie Bamber, who played Lee Adama aka Apollo on Moore’s reboot of Battlestar Galactica, for his new show, 17th Precinct, on NBC. Bamber has been cast in the role of Caolan, “an extremely focused crime scene detective.”
Bamber joins Stockard Channing on the cast for the show. 17th Precinct is described as “an ensemble cop drama” “set in a fictional town of Excelsior where magic and with supernatural elements rule over science.” This is a Sony TV project and is in production in Vancouver.
