“Futurama” fans, breathe a sigh of relief. The original voice actors for “Futurama” have reached a deal with Fox to voice their characters for the 26 new eps on Comedy Central after weeks of salary negotiations. We reported to you that Fox had thrown down the gauntlet and initiated the search for new voice actors.
“Futurama” creators, Matt Groening and David X. Cohen issued this statement:
“We are thrilled to have our incredible cast back. The call has already gone out to the animators to put the mouths back on the characters.”
John DiMaggio, Maurice LaMarche, Billy West, Tress MacNeille and Katey Sagal are all back onboard, but you got to admit, this scare did create quite a media blitz in support for the show.
