‘Even Heroes Face Battles They Cannot Fight Alone’ – New Web Series, ‘Sanctum’

Anyone who has ever read a comic book knows that superheroes have issues.  These issues may motivate and drive superheroes to do what they do, but sometimes, these very same life-changing moments or decisions can eat away at them.

Say ‘hello’ to the web series, ‘Sanctum‘.  Their homepage describes the web series as such:

In the safety of The Sanctum, where they depend on each other for anonymity, superheroes unveil the personal circumstances that have led them to a life of addiction and loneliness.  Bonded by the anguish of their individual experiences and the often destructive nature of their supernatural abilities, they begin to learn to heal themselves.  All the while, evil lurks in their midst.

Here is Episode One:

Episode One is written and produced by Megan J. Wilson and directed by Michael Meyer.

Zen’s comments:

In this first webisode, Jason’s story captivated me from beginning to end.  It lifted me up in his elation of discovery of his superpower and the freedom it brought him and gripped me in the pain of his loss.  I can’t wait for the next webisode.
