Just yesterday, we brought you the news about Donald Faison (Skyline, TRON: Uprising) entering negotiations to join Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and John Leguizamo on the cast the cast of the Jeff Wadlow (Cry Wolf, Never Back Down) directed and scripted follow-up to Matthew Vaughn‘s 2010 film, Kick-Ass as Doctor Gravity.

Now, THR reports that Yancy Butler (Witchblade, Lake Placid: The Final Chapter) is returning to the Kick-Ass franchise as Angie D’Amico, the mother of Red Mist/Chris D’Amico (Christopher Mintz-Plasse).

Kick-Ass 2 or Kick-Ass 2: Balls to the Wall is in development.
