Just a few days ago, we told you that James Badge Dale (The Pacific, The Departed) had been cast in the Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) directed big-screen adaptation of Max Brooks‘ novel, World War Z for Paramount Pictures, as an American soldier who attempts to alert government officials to the forthcoming, global zombie threat.

Now, Deadline reports that Matthew Fox (Lost), Ed Harris (Man on a Ledge) and Julia Levy-Boeken (Entourage) have joined the cast, alongside Badge Dale and Brad Pitt.

World War Z is slated to hit theaters in 2012.
