We’ve been reporting the slow flow of casting news surrounding Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, a movie about a “heroic interstellar voyage to the furthest reaches of our scientific understanding.” So far we have Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Michael Caine on board for the project.

Now, beloved character actor Bill Irwin has joined the crew according to The Wrap. He’s well know for dozens of movies (including How the Grinch Stole Christmas) and television shows (Life on Mars), but when my husband reads this he will shout MR. NOODLE! (Sesame Street) as we always do when we spot him in a new movie. His facial expressions are priceless and I cannot wait to see what he will bring to this new movie.
