Warner Brothers Announces Plans For Comic-Con 2009!

In addition to confirming that they’ll be bringing Sherlock Holmes, Jonah Hex, The Box, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Book of Eli, Where the Wild Things Are, The Final Destination, and Robert Rodriguez’s Shorts, they have also confirmed that Hall H has been converted to 3D for multiple presentations this year (which is great news for James Cameron’s Avatar). Read on for the preliminary details and timing for Warner Brothers three big Comic-Con 2009 panels!

Thursday, July 23rd from 3:30pm to 4:30pm: The Final Destination 3D Showcase Presentation Confirmed talent includes producer Craig Perry. It’s likely we’ll see other young cast members as well.

Friday, July 24th from 10:15am to 12:30pm: Warner Brothers Presentation – Where the Wild Things Are, The Book of Eli, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Box, Jonah Hex, and Sherlock Holmes. Talent is not confirmed yet, but I bet we’ll see Spike Jonze, Denzel Washington, Richard Kelly, Cameron Diaz, Josh Brolin, Megan Fox, and maybe Robert Downey Jr., though he might only doing Iron Man 2.

Friday, July 24th from 1:45pm to 2:45pm (in Room 6DE): Q&A with Robert Rodriguez on Shorts Other talent besides Rodriguez hasn’t been confirmed, but expect to see other cast members from Shorts.

We expect Comic-Con to release the full programming line-up within the next few weeks, so stay tuned for that announcement!
