“Warehouse 13” fans, rejoice! Syfy has already requested a second season of “Warehouse 13”. Ratings have been strong for this original series by Syfy, garnering an average of 3.7 millions viewers per week and 1.4 million in the 18-49 demographic and unusually high numbers in female viewership (50%!). It is the most watched show in the Syfy channel’s history.
Season two will have thirteen eps and is expected to begin on July 7, 2010.
Warehouse 13 features a dynamic secret service agent duo, Pete Lattimer (Eddie McClintock) and Myka Bering (Joanne Kelly) that snag, bag, and tag artifacts of extraordinary power to America’s attic, codenamed, “Warehouse 13”. Pete and Myka are stereotypically opposites of one another- Pete, the intuitive, fly-by-the-seat-of-his-pants bad boy VS Myka, the straight, by-the-books, keenly perceptive and driven career woman. It is this contrast that gets them the appointment to Warehouse 13 and makes the show fun. “Warehouse 13” is like the “X-files”, but a serious case of levity.
