What a great way to wish the U.S. happy birthday — a new Doctor Who TV spot! Sure it means I’m working on a holiday but COME ON, it’s a NEW DOCTOR WHO TV SPOT! We also have a couple of new posters for the upcoming season. Actually,basically, it’s two views of the same poster, but IT’S DOCTOR WHO.

Now, I’m a giant fan of the Doctor and of Clara, and I can’t wait to see what they’ll be bringing in the new season, but I can’t say I’m a giant fan of his no-tie buttoned up shirt look, and I don’t know what the heck Clara is doing in this oddly postured shot. And yet, I’m still thrilled with the posters and the TV spot and can’t wait for more. Thanks, BBC America!
